UACII Aims
- To ignite the recognition of MICE as a serious tourism sector and contributor to the national GDP of Uganda
- To set and accredit professional standards in Uganda’s MICE industry
- To contribute to the marketing of Uganda as a MICE destination
- To improve the quality of the MICE industry throughout Uganda
- To promote the accreditation of MICE industry professionals locally through UACII membership and globally via for example SITE / IAPCO and other global industry bodies
- To promote professional development, certification and industry relationships with other local (for example UTA / AUTO / UHOA) and international (for example SITE / MPI / EIC / ICCA / PCMA) industry Associations
- To promote a platform for members to exchange innovative ideas, experiences and do business
- To create visibility and recognition of UACII both locally and internationally
- To grow our membership countrywide
UACII Structure
UACII is a legally constituted private sector association that falls under the umbrella of the Uganda Tourism Association. The following portfolios comprise the structure of UACII:
